Azra demonstrated concerns with the new language, making content asking questions around Jenny and Brett Gale.

Brett Thomas Gale presented at Supreme Court on the 18th of October 2006 charged with Indecent Act with a young person under the age of 17 years. Between the 30th of July 2002 and 20th of May 2003 Gale was employed as a teacher at Smithton High School. He pleaded guilty to the charge.

Ms Jenny Gale is presently part of the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPAC) she was appointed Secretary of the Department of Education in January 2016, and Secretary of DPAC and Head of State Service in November 2017. Many questions have been raised through-out the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government's Response to Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings. Azra, along with the child safety advocate network are asking if the conflict of interest around Jenny and Brett was disclosed.

This morning the 10th of January 2023, we wake to the abc news announcing Felix Ellis plans to scrap the "inciting animosity" wording after backlash.
