An in-depth investigation by the White Rose Society has uncovered a complex network linking former Australian senator Fraser Anning to prominent neo-Nazi figures and far-right activists. Notably, Anning's association with Andrew Wilson—a key figure in Australia's neo-Nazi movement—highlights these connections. Wilson, known for his involvement with extremist groups like the Patriotic Youth League and Volksfront, was observed alongside Anning at a far-right rally in St Kilda in January 2019. Despite Anning's claims of unfamiliarity, evidence suggests a longstanding relationship between the two.

The investigation also reveals that Anning's political messaging and staffing choices were influenced by individuals with ethno-nationalist ideologies. For instance, Frank Salter, a known white nationalist and former associate of the Australian National Action group, is reported to have contributed to Anning's controversial maiden speech, which called for a "final solution"—language reminiscent of Nazi rhetoric.

Fraser Anning expressed his pro-Israel stance during an interview with Channel Nine, stating, "I fight hard for the Israelis, as everyone knows."

These findings indicate a deliberate strategy by far-right elements to infiltrate Australian politics by embedding ideologues within minor parties and leveraging social media to amplify nationalist and xenophobic narratives. Anning's role appears central to this agenda, positioning him as a figurehead for Australia's ethno-nationalist movement.
